A Philippine airline has said that it will 'strictly enforce' its hand baggage policy on flights.
According to GMA News, Cebu Pacific will only allow one hand baggage inside the cabin from July 17, 2018. The bag can only weigh up to seven kilograms. A travel advisory from the airline also added that the bag's dimensions must not exceed 56cm x 36cm x 23 centimeters and must fit inside the overhead cabin.
Cebu Pacific operates daily flights in Dubai.
Apart from one bag, each passenger can also bring a handbag or a laptop bag that can fit under the seat. Their dimension must not exceed 35cm x 20cm x 20 centimetres. Passengers carrying infants will also be allowed to bring in one baby bag. Additionally, assistive or medical items such as walking canes, foldable walkers; as well as items purchased inside the airport (airside) are on top of the hand-carry baggage allowance for each passenger.? ?
The move is in line with the airline's efforts to streamline operations.
