Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah Police have reminded motorists to take advantage of the 50 per cent traffic fine discount grace period, which ends on February 28.
Police forces across the country and Ministry of Interior (MoI) have been regularly posting reminders of social media, urging motorists to avail the offer before it ends.

However, Abu Dhabi Police have given residents up until March 1 to take advantage of the grace period.
Col Ahmed Saeed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Acting Director of the traffic and patrols department, RAK Police, said the 50 per cent discount is slated to end on February 28.

All drivers need to strictly observe traffic rules and regulations, and avoid repeating these traffic violations, he urged.
There are multiple ways in which the fines can be paid including the Ministry of Interior's smart application "MOI" in addition to traffic and licensing service centres as well as other branches at comprehensive police stations throughout the UAE and technical inspection stations.
