Sharjah-Dhaid Road to have new stop
Starting February 1, Al Bataeh area on the Sharjah-Dhaid Road will have a new bus stop for the people staying or working there.
According to a senior official, the new stop will be part of the Sharjah-Khorfakkan bus on route No 116, which crosses the Desert Park, Al Dhaid, Masafi, Fujairah, and ends at the city of Khorfakkan.
“Bus route No 116 will be making 16 trips in both directions daily, starting from Al Jubail bus station at 5.30am, passing by the new Al Bataeh bus stop at 6am, and ending at 11.30pm at Al Jubail station,” said Rashid Mahboob, Manager of Al Jubail Bus Station.
Mahboob added that the new bus stop has been constructed in front of the main gate of Al Bataeh Public Park in collaboration with the Al Bataeh Police and Al Bataeh Municipality. “Passengers from Al Jubail Bus Station to Al Bataeh bus stop and back, will only be charged Dh7 per trip in either of the directions.”
