Accidents on Dubai's key roads caused huge tailbacks around the city on Sunday evening.
As commonly observed during Ramadan - motorists clog roads as they rush home in time for Iftar with accidents and traffic jams on roads being a common occurrence.
According to Google Maps, traffic mostly blocked roads in 'old Dubai' - moving towards Sharjah. Key roads such as E11, D62 and E311 faced long tailbacks this evening.
Dubai Police took to Twitter to inform motorists about accidents on Al Khail Road and Emirates Road:

Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternate routes where possible.
