Drivers in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah are advised to take extra caution as the arterial Corniche Al Qawasim road is to be partially closed for three days from Wednesday (12am) till Saturday, March 20 (6am).
Official sources with the department of public works on Tuesday told Khaleej Times that one lane of the busy road shall be closed for maintenance works.
"The road shall be partially shut down from under the RAK Bridge to the Corniche Al Qawasim."
One lane will be kept open for traffic in both directions, they added.
"All drivers are urged to take alternative routes as the traffic flow is expected to be slowed down during the three-day maintenance works, effective from Wednesday, March 17, at 12am to Saturday, March 20, 6am."
