The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi started to install toll gates in the 4 locations ahead of its opening on October 15: Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Bridge, Al MAqtaa bridge and Musaffah bridge.

Emarat Al Youm daily reported that the department has started installing the gates at the four locations.
The toll will be Dh4 for crossing the gate during peak hours, and Dh2 for normal hours.
The new toll system aims to reduce traffic congestions in the emirate, and will encourage residents to use public transportation.
All motorists can register their vehicles by the end of August.
