Partial closure of Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum road and other major roads
The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi (DoT) announced today the closure of Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Road (Airport Road), Al Falah, Hamdan bin Mohammed, Zayed the First and Khalid bin Waleed Roads during the inauguration ceremony of Al Hosn Palace Festival on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 02pm to 06pm.
Five main roads will be closed: Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum (airport road) will be closed from the intersection of Hamdan Street to the intersection of Al Falah Street, Zayed the First Street, will be closed from the intersection of Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, to the intersection of Khalid bin Al Waleed, Hamdan bin Mohamed Street will be closed from the intersection of Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, to the intersection of Khalid bin Waleed Street, Al Falah Street will be closed from the intersection of Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, to the intersection of Al Karamah Street, and Khalid bin Waleed Street will be closed from the intersection of Hamdan Street to the intersection of Zayed the first Street.
There will be detours for some public buses from 01pm to 06pm. The DoT will offer free transportation to public to attend the event.
