ABU DHABI - Mawaqif parking fees during the holy month of Ramadan will be applicable from 9am to 2pm and 9pm to 2:30am from Saturday to Wednesday.
On Thursday, parking fees during the day will apply from 9am to 2pm and from 9pm to midnight while on Friday, free parking is from 12:01am to 8:59am on Saturday morning.
The Department of Transport (DoT) has also exempted people attending the Tarawih prayers from paying the Mawaqif fees in the parking bays around mosques during the prayer time, provided they do not block other vehicles or obstruct the traffic flow.
The DoT has also urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding resident permit parking bays from 9pm to 8am.
For DoT customer care centres, working hours will be from 9am to 4pm, Saturday to Thursday, at the Central Market (Al Souq Al Markazi), Electra Street, Al Muroor Street and Al Falah Street while 9am to 4pm from Sunday to Thursday at the DoT HQ.
The customer care centres meanwhile at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Commercial Properties (ADCP) and Etisalat will open its doors from 9am to 2pm Sunday to Thursday.
