Abu Dhabi — The Department of Transport, DoT, in Abu Dhabi announced that it will launch its largest campaign of field surveys relating to transport main patterns and norms in all regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including Al Ain and the Western Region (Al Gharbia).
The aim of these field surveys, which will be conducted between the beginning of March and the end of May 2015, is to engage the public residing in the emirate in the planning and development of the transport sector. This will help tune the transport services and structures with the public current travel patterns and meet future needs of the transport network, as part of the development of Abu Dhabi Transport Model Project.
