Khaleej TimesHe noted that the Dubai Police will intensify their efforts to catch those who neglect safety measures. He said that Police had registered almost 37,000 violations for using mobile phone this year compared to 44,090 violations last year.

Al Zafin said that the police aim to curb accidents caused by the use of mobile phones, which endanger the lives of motorists who do not concentrate on driving.
