Did you notice a change in your network name today?

Telecom service providers in the UAE on Tuesday changed their network names to 'CRC 30' to mark the 30 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

November 20,  marks 30 years since the Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted by the UN, a convention that was ratified by South Sudan 23 January 2015.

The Convention is the first-ever global set of legally binding rights to apply to all children. Today, 30 years on, it remains the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history.
