Samsung has already confirmed during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that it will announce the smartphone towards the end of February. And, the current rumours about the Galaxy S9 suggest the smartphone will come with many subtle updates, according to Business Insider.
But before Samsung reveals the date and details about the device, it has already confirmed Galaxy S9's unveiling in February, and this makes Blass' claim of a March release even stronger.
Moreover, Samsung has suggested that it will update its Bixby artificial-intelligence assistant, especially an easier-to-navigate interface, and make changes to the device's design to make it easier to use.
Galaxy S9 may come with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner in a centralized location unlike Galaxy S8's scanner which is to the right of the camera module, making it a little difficult for user to find it. Besides, the new smartphone will have new camera features, such as super-slow-mo video, and may include a single-lens camera on Galaxy S9 and a dual-lens camera on the S9 Plus.
Samsung may ape Apple's Face ID and Animoji on the iPhone X, however, it already has an iris scanner and facial-recognition features on its current smartphones that it could adapt for new models.
Among other rumours Galaxy S9 could come with eight times the internal storage capacity of current Galaxy devices.
