The annual tech-focused IFA - one of the cornerstone industry events worldwide - was forced to use a virtual format for its Press conferences and presentations due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
"We really want to use our products in this special time to change something to help young people and stay together with them to face the challenges," Honor president George Zhao said in his keynote during the virtual event.?
"Honor intends to create an intelligent new world for young people...although 2020 has been a very challenging year, we insist on bringing unrivalled products at unbeatable value?

At the event, Honor launched two new wearables: The Watch GS Pro, their first rugged wearable that will be able to withstand the harshest of conditions and with battery life of up to 25 days; and the Watch ES, a device positioned in the fitness-fashion segment. The former has passed 14 stringent tests, including its ability to survive in saltwater.
The company also introduced its newest laptop, the MagicBook Pro, which Honor says is aimed at creators. The 16.1-inch device has an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor, 16GB of memory and a 512GB solid state drive. It also features up to 11 hours of battery life and multi-screen collaboration, in which users can connect Honor or Huawei smartphones and transfer files, among others, seamlessly.
