Nikon Middle East unveiled its two new offerings to further strengthen its grip on the photography market, in line with today's ever-changing fundamentals and demands in the overall consumer industry.
The Japanese company opened the doors of the Nikon Experience Zone in Dubai, its first such showroom in the Middle East, designed to allow customers not just to experience its products first-hand, but also to do it with a more personalised touch.
"By creating a zone, we want to be physically closer to our customers and give them an opportunity to interact with our devices like never before," Narendra Menon, managing director of Nikon Middle East, said.
"The experience zone not only creates an experience but also allows one to acquire in-depth knowledge and understanding of our [products]," he added.
The store offers visitors interactive opportunities, as well as a 'Wall of Fame' that will house the best photos taken by Nikon devices. Aside from these, an editing room for content developers and 30-seater classroom for aspiring photographers have also been set up at the venue. A lounge for Nikon's premium members is also at the showroom.
At the event, Nikon also unveiled its latest professional-grade mirrorless camera, the Z6, which is capable of reading 6K video and resampling it to 4K UHD. It also introduced a new ultra-wide Nikkor Z lens.
