Use this app to make internet calls in UAE

Dubai - The users can send instant messages to friends and enjoy group chats with up to 200 contacts.

Etisalat customers can now download the HiU Messenger app for making Internet calls.

According to details available on the Etisalat website, HiU Messenger is a 'simple and reliable video calling app' that works on smartphones, tablets and desktops.

The users can make voice calls to anyone in the world or chat with family and friends on an HD video call. The users can send instant messages to friends and enjoy group chats with up to 200 contacts.

BOTIM and C'Me are the other apps available on the Etisalat platform.

All the apps are free for two weeks, Etisalat said.

The users can subscribe to the Mobile Internet Calling Plan and get two weeks of the service for free.

Once activated, the two-week free period starts immediately and the users won't be be charged during this period.

The customers can use any of the supported apps - BOTIM, C'Me, HiU - to make voice and video calls. Most importantly, the users can opt-out at any time, without any charge during the free period, Etisalat said.

After the free period, the paid subscription will start immediately and charges will apply.

Three plans are available now: Dh50 for Internet calling plan for mobile postpaid, Dh50 for Internet calling plan for mobile prepaid and Dh100 for Internet calling plan for elife.
