Local business owners throughout the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) region need help finding the right digital tools to form, grow and sustain successful operations.
Local Digital Middle East 2020 is a new, day-long event focused on understanding and maximising the opportunity to help local business owners find and deploy the right digital tools for their companies.
Local Digital Middle East 2020 takes place on Tuesday February 4, 2020 at Google's Dubai offices. The event will explore the region's unique digital marketing, media, commerce, and back-office ecosystems, and will provide an excellent environment for networking and partnership formation.
The event is produced by BigFive Digital, a membership and events organisation, dedicated to championing local commerce and business efficiency across Africa and
The Middle East, through the adoption of digital media and cloud-based technology solutions.
"BigFive Digital sees tremendous energy and opportunity in the MENA region, with a vibrant entrepreneurial culture," says BigFive Digital Co-Founder Paul Plant. "We discovered an unmet need in the region for an event that brings together the constituent parts of the local digital ecosystem -- the solutions providers and the companies with direct relationships with local business owners -- to form the partnerships necessary for success in this vibrant and exciting marketplace."
BigFive is assembling a compelling group of thought-leading speakers tuned into the needs of the region's local and small businesses.
Andrew Thomas, Managing Director at Nexa, one of the region's leading Digital Marketing agencies.
Andrew is a digital agency veteran who advises brands and local businesses on how best to apply digital tools to grow their businesses. His insights will resonate equally with brand marketers, media publishers, and start-ups.
Trevor Nadeau, founder and Managing Director, Local Knowledge.
Trevor and his team have done the hard work of helping small businesses and multi-location brands get found online. He has a unique perspective on the digital readiness of the region's local businesses and will articulate what it will take to make the local digital ecosystem operate at peak efficiency.
Additional speakers will be announced in the coming days.
The event will also feature a panel discussion where we will hear directly from a number of Dubai-based local businesses who will share their first-hand experiences of using digital tools to find and grow customers and manage the day-to-day operation of their companies.
