Realme on Monday continued its strategy of further making inroads into the UAE with two new smartphones, targeting the younger audience with flagship-level devices at affordable price points.
The Shenzhen-based company announced the Realme 6 and Realme 6i, promising value for money and catering to the changing and dynamic needs of youth, who are a primary driver of the smartphone market.
It debuted in the UAE market in January, and has identified the country as a key expansion market both in the region and globally.
In February, it rolled out its first 5G flagship, the X50 Pro 5G.
The Realme 6 comes in a splash-resistant design with a 6.5-inch display, an artificial intelligence-backed quad-camera system, 128GB storage, a punch-hole 16MP selfie camera and a battery that is pegged to fully charge in less than an hour. It is priced at Dh799 (4GB RAM) and Dh999 (8GB).
On the other hand, the Realme 6i comes with a 6.52-inch display, a quad-lens camera, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and quick-charging capabilities. It is priced at Dh699.
Realme is under BBK Electronics, which is also the maker of other popular smartphone brands Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus.
