The Star Wars universe may be oozing with technology, but it doesn't have anything quite like the smartphones we enjoy today.
So, Samsung decided to take it to Kylo Ren and Co.
The world's biggest mobile phone maker began pre-orders of the limited Galaxy Note10+ Star Wars Edition in the UAE, ahead of the December 19 release of the much-awaited Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
The special Note10+ - first announced on November 19 - has a 12GB/256GB configuration and it - along with the included Galaxy Buds - comes in a black-and-red theme. An exclusive pouch and metal badge with Kylo Ren embossed on them are also included, with the latter considered a collector's item. It also comes in a Sith-inspired package.
For good measure, the S Pen included has a red colourway, resembling the light saber Kylo Ren uses - though it would've been cooler if it had the lateral vents, too.
The device won't be launched in all countries; it will be available in Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the UK, the US and, of course, the UAE.
Pre-orders start today and will run until December 15, and the device will be available exclusively on Samsung's e-store. Those who will take up the offer will receive complementary two-year Samsung Care+ service.
Additionally, Samsung Gulf guarantees that customers who pre-ordered will get their devices before the film's release in the UAE.
