Thousands of Samsung users were left puzzled after receiving a mystery message on their phones overnight.
The notification popped up on certain devices in the early hours of Thursday and as part of Samsung's Find My Mobile service used to help track down missing phones.
Now a day after the bizarre message got users worried, Samsung issued an apology revealing it accidentally sent an alert to thousands of devices overnight.
In a statement, Samsung said the alert had been sent unintentionally to a "limited number" of devices, reported BBC.

The report also stated that the alert affected Galaxy devices running on Android O or the company's newer phones including Galaxy S phones, Z-Flip device and some Samsung tablet computers.
Samsung clarified that the Find My Phone alert was not harmful but was the result of an internal test.
