Gitex Shopper 2018 opens its doors today for bargain hunters and tech savvy fans with prizes, discounts and freebies worth millions of dirhams.
The 5-day electronics extravaganza will bring top electronic brands, retailers and tech enthusiasts together, to maximise on great electronics deals and offers, daily prize draws and product launches.
The exhibition will run from 11am to 11pm on all days.

Dubai Metro timings for Gitex Shopper
The Dubai Metro's World Trade Centre Station on the red line serves the exhibition centre, which the organisers say is the fastest way to reach the Gitex Shopper without the long queues for the car park.

For international travellers, the route connects the exhibition centre with Dubai International Aiport and all stops throughout the city's sights, malls and hotel districts, including some of the best views of the city.
Trains run every seven minutes to all major business, tourist and residential areas, with options such as Park and Ride, or feeder buses at select stations.
Car parking facilities area available on the Red Line at Rashidiya (2,700 Spaces) and Nakheel Harbour and Towers (3,000 spaces) and on the Green Line Etisalat (3,000 car park spaces).
The Dubai Metro runs from 5.50am-midnight from Sunday to Wednesday. On Thursdays, timings extend to 1am, while on Fridays, the metro commences at 10am and runs until 1am.

Last year, the exhibition was held for 8 days from September 23 to September 30, 2017 but this year's edition has been reduced to five days from October 2 to 6.
Entry ticket price cut by 33%
Dubai World Trade Centre has reduced entry ticket for the Gitex Shoppers Autumn edition by 33 per cent from Dh30 in 2017 to Dh20 this year.

"The ticket price per person per entry on all days of the show is Dh20. Student groups of 50 and above can get tickets at Dh10 per student. Entrance for children below the age of 5 years is free. Children below the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times," the organiser said on its website.
Tickets for only Dh10 for students
Students visiting Gitex Shopper in Dubai will be able to buy tickets at discounted prices of only Dh10. While tickets cost Dh20 per entry, students can avail tickets at reduced prices, provided they show their photo ID cards.
