Apple always trends - even for the wrong reasons.
And with every new release - be it hardware or, most especially, software - it has become quite an expectation that some bug is bound to come up.
So, here we are with the latest edition of what we want to call 'iBugs'. And this time around, it has something to do with trying to type one certain vowel in the English alphabet.
Users worldwide have been reporting that typing 'i' auto-corrects it to 'A[?]' - specifically, it's an 'A' with a question mark enclosed in a box.

Oh-kaay..
Oh, and if that isn't enough, MacRumors also reports that an 'i' emoji is also appearing on everyone's favourite keyboard.

ih, er, eh?
Apple has acknowledged this, and they've put up a page on their website to solve this.
For your convenience, here's a step-by-step guide of what Apple is talking about:

Couldn't be easier than this.
MacRumors also added that the bug has also crept its way into Macs, since the predictive text feature is present on all Apple devices through iCloud.
Thankfully, the bug doesn't seem to affect everyone - though it's really been trending, including here in the UAE.
Khaleej Times was unable to replicate the said bug on iOS 11 users on our own turf (which also led to some pre-iOS 11 users to postponing updating to the latest version upon finding out why I rummaged through their devices).

Everything seems normal here, as you can see on Mr Poop's expression.
The bug is apparently affecting users of iOS 11.0.3 and 11.1, the latter of which featured many new emojis (and we're not sure if that 'i' mentioned above was actually one of them). The reason(s) for this glitch remains unclear, but we can all hope that Apple will fix this in the next iOS update. How soon, however, remains to be seen.
