Abu Dhabi University
Abu Dhabi University is a university in the United Arab Emirates with campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai. It is the largest private university in the UAE, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees based upon the American model of higher education. Some of the courses offered are mass communication, teaching (Arabic and English), architecture, strategic leadership, aviation, specialised engineering and law.

Ajman University
Established in 1988 as the first private university in the GCC, Ajman University (AU) also was the first university in the UAE to admit expatriate students. In 2020, Ajman University became one of the first six higher education institutions in the world to receive global accreditation from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), UK's independent body and a global leader in quality assurance for higher education. Each of AU's 22 undergraduate and 14 graduate programmes offer academic rigour as well as hands-on experience.

Al Ain University
Situated in Al Ain, the university offers accredited programmes in business administration, education, engineering and IT, law and pharmacy with 11 baccalaureate degrees. It offers a master's degree in business administration (MBA) and a professional diploma in education.

American University in Dubai
The American University in Dubai is a fully independent, vibrant institution. It currently educates more than 2,000 students of almost 100 nationalities, and remains the first and only institution outside of the US and Latin America to receive accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). AUD offers courses in architecture, design, visual communication, arts and science, psychology, international studies, business and economics, finance and engineering, among others.

American University of Ras Al Khaimah
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah is planning to introduce four new academic programmes in Fall 2020 comprising BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, BA in Interior Design, MSc in Infrastructure Engineering and in Sustainable and Renewable Energy. Other courses include graduate and post graduate degrees in literature, mass communication, MBA, HR, chemical engineering, and computer engineering.

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi
It was established in 2006 as a result of an agreement between the Sorbonne University in Paris and the Government of Abu Dhabi. The degrees are issued by the university in the fields of arts, humanities and sciences and by University of Paris for law, management and economics. The degrees are recognised globally following the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education.

Zayed University
