Sharjah Healthcare City (SHCC) formed under the directive and vision of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with the objective to transform and enhance the regional healthcare service industry and establish Sharjah as the most sought-after destination for healthcare services.

The Sharjah Healthcare City (SHCC) offers excellent investment opportunities in the field of healthcare and related fields under convenient free zone rules and regulations through single window service system.

Spread over above 4.5 million square metres of land area, adjacent to Sharjah international airport, SHCC offers a range of investment opportunities in the field of healthcare and cure.

Plots of land are available for construction of hospitals and any other stand-alone healthcare structures under long lease patterns. The newly built clinical building gives an opportunity to lease clinical suites that are ready to occupy, as well as core and shell areas with ready-to-occupy offices for healthcare entrepreneurs.

Sharjah Healthcare City undertakes all the licensing needs of an investor right from the commercial registration, company formation, professional and facility licensing, emigration services, etc.

Sharjah Healthcare City has a great geographical advantage as it is located on the Sharjah Airport Road (Al Dhaid Road) between the main highways, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road. The city is conveniently accessible from both Dubai and Sharjah international airports as well as Northern and Eastern parts of the UAE.

Sharjah Healthcare City will offer 100 per cent foreign-owned investment opportunities for small, medium or larger hospitals, polyclinics, laboratories, rehabilitation centres, CAM centres, wellness centres, residential units, health clubs, consultancy offices, storage and production units of healthcare equipment and accessories.

"Our commitment is to create a destination that offers trusted and holistic solutions in healthcare for all mankind. So, we intend to service and fulfil the needs of all demographics within the City with as many options possible in healthcare," said Abdulla Ali Al Mahyan, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority and Healthcare city.

"The strategic location of SHCC near to two international airports is an encouraging factor too, for welcoming the medical tourists from across the MENA region to Sharjah," he added.
