Winner of the “most loved dentist award” in 2023 Aisha Soorty has been practicing dentistry for almost 26 years.

“I began my practice in Dubai in 2014 after relocating here from Pakistan and ever since then UAE has been my second home,” says Aisha Soorty.

The  UAE is  an  emerging hub for dental treatments,  as many  patients from many parts of the  world are seen seeking dental treatments here.

In UAE, the field of dentistry has evolved considerably with  new treatments, both medical and aesthetic, becoming part of mainstream dentistry.

“In a globally connected and tourist friendly destination like the UAE dentists serve a diverse international population, which, naturally creates a competitive and professional environment.”

Aisha  works with  children’s  oral  health, helping them build, healthy habits early in life through regular checkups and proper nutritious diet.

In UAE,  there has been a significant increase in public awareness for dental care. More people are now aware of the benefits of  routine checkups as they want to avoid complications and ensure their children do not face preventable dental challenges.

“Awareness of orthodontic health has also grown, with many parents bringing their teenagers for early evaluations when needed. Proper alignment is not only an aesthetic concern it can also impact overall health, including digestion and jaw function. Parents play a crucial role in building lifelong oral care discipline for their children through awareness and proactive action.”

In UAE like the rest of the world, orthodontic treatments such as braces and aligned are more common than ever before particularly amongst children and teenagers.

As in every field dentistry is also very competitive as new treatments  and techniques are always being introduced. This poses challenges, as one has to be fully aware of advancements made in this field.

One of Aisha’s professional goals is to remove the long-standing perception that dental  visits must be painful. According to Aisha preventive dentistry is not only clinically effective but also emotionally reassuring for her patients.

Commenting on her life here, Aisha maintains that UAE  truly offers  the best for its residents  in terms of comfort, life style and peace of mind. The influx of health insurances here help the residents to seek the best medical  care  including dentistry which is, a huge advantage for the  community.
