As a comprehensive university offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programmes, AUS provides teaching and learning that is enriched by possibilities to engage with faculty on research and creative work and access to numerous extra- and co-curricular programmes that focus on the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for success in the twenty-first century. At present, there are 74 clubs and organisations students can join, developing their cultural and community interests. AUS is also excellent preparation for a globally-oriented future as a result of the diversity of students enrolled. Over 90 nationalities are represented among current students, and AUS is acknowledged by Times Higher Education as being among the top three universities in the world with the highest percentage of international students.
