Residents, in the UAE and around the globe, have turned to the internet to showcase their festive ways - with homes and yards decorated with flower patterns, by streaming fun dance ceremonies and challenges, and staying in touch with loved ones through video calls. Also marking the festival with fervour is Nikai, one of the UAE's most trusted brand for electronics and appliances.

From an environmental perspective, Nikai planted half a million trees in the UAE in association with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The group also collaborates with the Emirates Environment Group to sponsor and participate in green campaigns such as 'Clean Up Dubai'.
