As we celebrate India’s Independence Day, we stand witness to a defining moment in our nation’s history. Over the years, India has cemented its position not just as a fast-growing economy but as a formidable global force, shaping international discourse, driving innovation, and leading with resilience. From advancements in space technology to breakthroughs in digital infrastructure, India is no longer merely participating on the world stage — it is helping script its future.
At Malabar Gold & Diamonds, we’ve always drawn deep inspiration from this transformation. Much like India, our journey is one of bold vision, rooted values, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. What began in 1993 as a modest jewellery showroom in Kerala is today a globally recognized brand with over 400 showrooms across 13 countries.
As India rises, so too does the Indian consumer. A new generation is emerging — rooted in tradition, yet driven by innovation. They are not just buying jewellery but seeking identity, craftsmanship, and meaning, while expecting global standards in quality, ethics, and design. This evolution drives us at Malabar Gold & Diamonds to constantly raise the bar. Our collections reflect not only India’s timeless artistry but also its bold, modern aesthetic — crafted to meet the aspirations of the global Indian while staying true to our cultural soul.
Our ethos, ‘Make in India, Market to the World,’ remains at the heart of everything we do. Each piece of jewellery we create embodies the essence of Indian craftsmanship — timeless, intricate, and inspiring. Through our efforts to uplift local communities, empower artisans, and support meaningful social initiatives under the Malabar Group’s CSR arm, we affirm our belief that business must be a force for good.
We stand proud as a responsible jeweller, steadfast in our commitment to the ethical and legal sourcing of gold, upholding sustainability at every step, and maintaining transparent business practices. Our pledge to responsible retailing is not just a business value — it is a moral obligation. Every piece we offer is backed by our trusted Malabar Promises, which include lifetime maintenance and a transparent buyback guarantee — a testament to the enduring value and integrity we bring to each purchase.
Over the past year, we’ve made remarkable progress. A key milestone was the inauguration of our integrated manufacturing site in Hyderabad, spanning over 3.45 lakh sq. ft. — a new era in jewellery production that reaffirms our commitment to crafting world-class jewellery in India for global markets.
Our journey continues with strategic expansions into new countries such as New Zealand and Ireland, bringing our global presence to 15 nations. In parallel, we’re strengthening our footprint in existing markets including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the USA, the UK, Australia, and Canada. With India remaining our primary and most successful market, we have also charted an ambitious plan to expand into Indian states where we currently have no showroom presence.
