Dubai Health Authority clinics offers multiple services for population in Dubai, and special care to diabetic patients as their number is high among the population here and need special precautions. Services provided include scaling and polishing, restorative services, prosthetic services, periodontal and surgical treatment, implant placement under high care for controlled sugar level patients.

What are the causes that leads to the appearance of the effects of diabetes disease?
People with diabetes (uncontrolled) usually suffer from gum disease, dry mouth, leading to higher risk to dental caries and fungal disease, bad breath, Periodontal disease that leads to teeth loss. Oral and dental hygiene has a great relationship with sugar level in blood, so that our advice to diabetic patient is to regularly take diabetes medication to maintain control level of blood sugar.

Diabetic patients are special care patients that we are giving them special attention and important tips to be given to them before leaving the clinic as:

.    Keep blood glucose level controlled  
.    Follow a healthy diet
.    Clean teeth and gums twice daily
.    Avoid dry mouth
.    Don't smoke
.    Visit a dentist twice a year
