On the occasion of UAE National Day, I feel a profound sense of pride and gratitude as I reflect on the journey of this remarkable nation and my own path as an entrepreneur shaped within its thriving ecosystem.

The UAE’s history is nothing short of inspirational. It is a story of vision, resilience and audacity that has transformed a small desert federation into a global centre for innovation, trade and culture within just a few decades. Yet beyond the impressive skylines and world-class infrastructure, the true strength of the UAE lies in the spirit of its people — their determination to create a nation where opportunity is boundless and diversity is celebrated as a driving force of progress.

For me, growing up in the UAE meant witnessing this spirit firsthand. Working in my family’s retail business in Sharjah’s Gold Souk at the age of 10, I learned the values of commitment, customer care and entrepreneurship early on. Those formative lessons became the foundation of my journey — one fueled by curiosity, discipline and a desire to build ventures that serve a meaningful purpose.

Today, as the founder of Triliv Holdings, I am proud to stand among the many entrepreneurs powering the UAE’s innovation engine. My mission is to build a supportive ecosystem where startups can flourish, young founders can realise their ideas and the next generation is equipped with the tools, mentorship and confidence they need to succeed. I firmly believe that our nation’s future depends on nurturing talent, embracing transformative technologies like AI and forging connections that link local startups to global markets.

As we celebrate National Day, I am reminded yet again that the UAE’s greatest strength is its unity and vision. This is a country built on the dreams of its leaders and the relentless pursuit of excellence by its people. Together, we have shown that no challenge is insurmountable and no ambition too bold.
