For every family, success is measured not only by exam results but by the opportunities those results create. At The Aquila School, the Class of 2026 has plenty to celebrate, with outstanding academic achievements opening doors to leading universities around the world and marking an important milestone for the school’s inaugural Year 13 graduates.
The school’s first International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) cohort achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with an average Diploma score of 34.4 points, exceeding last year’s global average of 30.6. Collectively, the Class of 2026 received more than 140 university acceptances and were awarded almost Dh7 million in scholarships, securing places at more than 20 universities across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa, including Durham University, The University of Manchester, University of Exeter, University of Toronto, Leiden University and University of Wollongong in Dubai.

Among this year’s graduates is Aurelia, one of The Aquila School’s first pupils, who joined the school eight years ago and will now study Business Management at Durham University, reflecting both her own journey and the school’s growth.

The school’s commitment to personalised, IB-inspired learning continued to deliver strong outcomes across GCSE and BTEC qualifications, with a 100 percent pass rate, 31 percent of grades at 9 to 7 and 87 per cent at grades 9 to 4. These results reflect a learning environment where academic excellence is supported by strong pastoral care, preparing pupils for future pathways with confidence.
