Strengthening connections that power progress across borders and generations
As the UAE celebrates its National Day, we also honour a remarkable story of partnership that continues to inspire the world, the ever-strengthening bond between India and the UAE. This relationship, built on mutual trust, economic ambition, and cultural warmth, has reached unprecedented heights under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
CEPA has ignited new momentum in bilateral trade, fuelling entrepreneurship, boosting manufacturing, and encouraging cross-border investments across diverse sectors. Indian businesses now view the UAE as an essential global hub for expansion, while UAE investors increasingly recognise India’s innovation-driven landscape as a powerful engine for growth. This seamless economic connect has opened doors for SMEs, startups, and large enterprises alike, generating jobs, enhancing competitiveness, and accelerating shared prosperity.
Looking ahead, our two nations are forging deeper collaborations in industries that will shape the next decade. Renewable energy remains a cornerstone, with joint initiatives in green hydrogen, solar technologies, and sustainable urban development. Equally dynamic is the surge in digital innovation. From fintech and AI to healthtech, smart manufacturing, and deep-tech solutions, the India-UAE corridor is powered by progressive regulation and a vibrant startup ecosystem, enabling both nations not only to embrace these transformations but to co-create them.
At the heart of this growing synergy stands IBPC Dubai. For 22 years, we have championed the Indo-UAE economic partnership by providing a credible, collaborative, and influential platform for dialogue and engagement. In 2025, our strategic calendar has further strengthened this mission with high-impact events designed to foster knowledge exchange, investment exploration, and sectoral collaboration.
Among these were the AI Summit at Dubai Chambers, a landmark gathering spotlighting the future of artificial intelligence and its role in bilateral innovation. The recent Youth Conclave celebrated the next generation of leaders shaping tomorrow’s India-UAE narrative. Our Sectorial Symposium on the Steel & Alloy Industry, held in the presence of Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, provided crucial insights into manufacturing and infrastructure opportunities.
The India Dialogue series brought powerful engagements, including A Conversation with the Reserve Bank of India and a special session with Shri Chirag Paswan, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, creating pathways for regulatory clarity and investment cooperation. The Capital Connect Series enabled businesses to interact directly with the region’s leading investors, while our 22nd Anniversary Celebration with Ram Nath Kovind, former President of India, marked a historic milestone.

IBPC Dubai’s initiatives are deeply strengthened by Emirati leadership and support. Dr Tayeb Kamali, Global Chairman - UAE & Gulf, IOD India, graced the Masterclass with IOD, sharing invaluable insights on governance and corporate excellence. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the UAE, welcomed the IBPC Steering Committee during its delegation visit, reinforcing governmental collaboration and trade facilitation. Additionally, consistent support from Dubai Chambers has been instrumental in amplifying the impact and reach of our initiatives, enabling IBPC Dubai to serve as a bridge between Indian businesses and the UAE market.
In 2025, IBPC Dubai marked a milestone with its first-ever Certified Corporate Director Masterclass, held in strategic collaboration with the Institute of Directors (IOD). It also hosted the CII Partnership Summit Roadshow - Dubai, convening industry leaders and policymakers to explore innovation, governance, and the future of investment in Andhra Pradesh.
The year also saw high-level interactions with Chief Ministers’ delegations, including Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, strengthening governmental engagement and opening new avenues for investment, trade, and collaboration between India and the UAE.
Cultural and community engagements marking India’s Independence Day, Republic Day, International Women’s Day, and the annual Corporate Quiz strengthened people-to-people ties, the true foundation of this extraordinary partnership.
As we look ahead, IBPC Dubai remains committed to empowering businesses, nurturing collaboration, and shaping sustainable global growth. India and the UAE stand today not just as trading partners, but as global partners in progress, building futures, together.
