The American University in Dubai is proud to announce the launch of three new professional graduate programs, Master of Arts in International Affairs, Master of Urban Design and Digital Environments, and Master of Arts in Intellectual Property and Innovation Management. These programs are specifically designed for industry professionals and fresh graduates to up-skill and stay ahead of the latest trends.

The Master of Arts in International Affairs (MAIA), launched under the School of Arts and Sciences, prepares the next generation of policymakers to serve in national, regional, or local government agencies; international or non-governmental organisations; or multinational corporations while contributing to the advancement of Emirati and global society.

Dr. Elham Seyedsayamdost, Dean of The School of Arts and Sciences, commented: "The School of Arts and Sciences at The American University in Dubai (AUD) has created the Master of Arts in International Affairs (MAIA) in order to prepare the next generation of globally aware policymakers, who are qualified to address our increasingly interdependent challenges through evidence-based and innovative solutions."

The Master of Urban Design and Digital Environments (MUDDE), launched under the School of Architecture, Art and Design, prepares students in solving complex and multi-faceted urban problems using the best practices and the latest technologies. The program looks to create high-calibre design professionals who are also critical thinkers, capable researchers, advocates of social justice and life-long learners.

"The Master of Urban Design and Digital Environments at The American University in Dubai is an opportunity for students and professionals in the field to embrace the latest digital technology, to analyse, assess, collaborate, and design urban spaces in an inclusive and integrative manner to respond to people's ever-changing needs and aspirations," said Dr. Nabyl Chenaf, Dean of the School of Architecture, Art and Design.

The Master of Arts in Intellectual Property and Innovation Management (MAIPIM), launched under the School of Business Administration, equips professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to convert intellectual property and innovations into competitive advantages. It provides students with a rigorous conceptual foundation and strong research skills, coupled with real-world experiences and collaborations from local and global settings.

"The MA in Intellectual Property and Innovation Management is a unique program in the region and caters to the increasing need for professionals who understand how to protect an innovation and successfully commercialise it," commented Dr. Assaad Farah, Dean of the School of Business

Administration.

Dr. David A. Schmidt, President of the American University in Dubai

Always challenging and responsive, The American University in Dubai (AUD) has once again raised the bar of academic excellence with the introduction of three new pioneering graduate programs; the Master of Arts in International Affairs, Master of Urban Design and Digital Environments and Master of Arts in Intellectual Property and Innovation Management. The programs, much like the students who enroll, lead and do not follow. They set the standards for innovation and creativity for professionals who are forward-thinking, and forward-moving leaders in their professions.
