Paul Pogba, the man who pulled the strings in the French midfield when the Le Bleus earned their second World Cup title in 2018, has warmed the UAE hearts with a beautiful message on the occasion of Eid.
The Manchester United midfielder also urged the people of the UAE to remain fit and safe at a time when the gyms around the country have shut their doors to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic

"Salaam Alaykum everyone, all my Dubai friends and all the Muslims in the world. Just want to wish you Eid Mabrook to everyone," Pogba said in a video message which was shared by the Dubai Sports Council on their social media platforms.
"And keep training, be fit, and be safe."
Launched to encourage people to do regular exercises at home at the time of social distancing, the Dubai Sports Council's Be Fit, Be Safe campaign has already been a resounding success with scores of people sharing their workout videos on social media.
And some of the biggest names in world football - Karim Benzema, Carles Puyol, Javier Zanetti, Luis Figo, Ivan Rakitic, Roberto Carlos, Marco Materazzi, Ryan Giggs, Hernan Crespo, Walter Zenga, Juan Sebastian Veron and Pierluigi Collina -- have backed Dubai Sports Council's beautiful initiative.
