Marksman Abdulla Sultan Alryani gave UAE their second medal at the Rio Paralympics when he claimed silver in the men's men's R7-50m rifle 3 positions-SH1, Monday night.
Sultan had given the UAE their first medal of the meet with a silver last week in the men's 10m sport rifle (standing) event.
After qualifying along with Abdulla Saif Alryani for the eight-man final round of the R7-50m rifle 3 event, Abdulla shot for 451.6 points against Laslo Suranji's (Serbia) gold medal winning tally of 453.7. Doron Shaziri of Israel won bronze with a total of 437.5 while Saif finished fifth on 415.6.
