Emirati Al Husain Saleh is relishing at the prospect of lining up along with talisman and captain Ismail Matar at Al Wahda.
The left-back, who turned 28 on Tuesday, joined The Clarets on a season-long loan from Al Nasr, and hoped that he can be a regular fixture in the starting line-up.
"I have moved from one big club to another. I hope to find a spot in the team and I will strive hard to meet the ambitions of Al Wahda," said Saleh.
"It is a dream to wear the Al Wahda jersey and I'm looking forward to playing with 'Emirati legend' Ismail Matar.
Saleh is one of three players signed by Al Wahda, who have a busy summer as they will be competing in the lasy 16 of the AFC Champions League.
The Abu Dhabi heavyweights have also brought in Uruguayan playmaker Nicolas Milesi on a season-long loan from Al Dhafra and signed Brazilian 18-year-old midfielder Eduardo Voltan da Silva, better known as 'Dudu.'
Milesi, who spent two seasons with Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal, said he was proud to join Al Wahda, whom he termed as one of the biggest clubs in the UAE.
"Al Wahda are one of the top clubs in the UAE and I'm happy and proud to join them. It is a great club and I thank the management for giving me this opportunity. I will give it my all to help Al Wahda in the AFC Champions League and the domestic competitions," said the 26-year-old Milesi.
The club also extended the contract of South Korean defender Chang-woo Rim for a year.
Meanwhile, the Al Wahda squad embarked on their pre-season camp to The Netherlands. The Clarets will be stationed in Gilze until July 20 during which they will play six friendlies.
The Clarets take on Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr on August 5 with the return leg at home on August 12.
