The Pro League Committee (PLC) is conducting a marketing workshop for all 14 member clubs from December 28, 2015, to January 5, 2016, taking advantage of a brief pause in Arabian Gulf League action between the first and second half of the 2015/16 season.
This move will help to focus on developing clubs' off-the-field activities in relation to marketing and communications, as part of a series of workshops and educational programs provided by the PLC throughout the year.
Noel Mooney, marketing director of UEFA, is the expert host of the workshop, returning to the UAE after a successful and engaging appearance at the PLC's marketing & grassroots conference in October, in conjunction with the AFC's 'Kick Off' Programme.
Commencing in Abu Dhabi, the workshop has seen the attendence of all club CEOs, marketing directors and marketing department staff, commercial directors, and media directors in order to benefit most from the information and experience on offer. During his stay, Noel Mooney and his team will also pay individual visits to each club to meet with the chairmen and boards of directors in order to discuss the development of clubs' marketing with top-level management, due to the importance of this element in the overall improvement of clubs and UAE football.
