Patrick Reed has vowed to return to the emirate here after enjoying an "awesome" experience at the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Following on from fellow American Rickie Fowler's appearance at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship earlier this year, Reed has shown his willingness to compete in European Tour (ET) events outside of his native country and duly reaped the rewards for it too.
Sunday was his fourth top-10 finish in a row and he has easily now earned well in excess of ?1m in the space of a single month, with the professional payouts coming in such diverse destinations as Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai.
The trend of Americans sampling life here in the UAE is - of course - set to continue early next year, with world number one Jordan Spieth scheduled to compete alongside Rory McIlroy at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
Reed has every intention of coming back as well, with the 25-year-old Texan only too keen to bring his young family upon his eventual return next time around.
"This is my first time over in Dubai and it's an awesome area," Reed commented. "I'm looking forward to coming back and playing some more golf.
"It is a place I'd love to come back to and bring my family over, so they can enjoy everything as well."
Reed is seemingly intent then on sampling the best that's on offer on both the European Tour and the US PGA Tour, which can - of course - lead to scheduling difficulties owing to cross-Atlantic clashes in a congested calendar.
Nonetheless, he is confident he can accommodate all of his commitments in Europe and the USA.
"I'm pretty good at compartmentalising everything and shutting things off when I'm at the golf course and then turning them on when I'm off the golf course," Reed added.
"Whenever I wake up in the morning, I just focus on that day, each day at a time and just simply do that. I don't try to look too far ahead.
