Shahid and Ashfaq shine in KPK’s win

Invited to bat first KPK amassed 175 runs for wickets in 20 overs and later restricted Rising Stars to 148 runs for 5 wickets

The KPK innings was inspired by the duo of Shahid and Ashfaq. Shahid hit an aggressive unbeaten 45 off just 20 balls which was studded with four sixes and two boundaries. Comparatively Ashfaq played a sedate knock of 46 runs off 40 balls which included four boundaries and a six.

In reply, Rising Stars tried to make a match of it as Lijo scored an unbeaten 34 off as many deliveries while Akhil contributed an unbeaten 29 off 20 balls. In the end despite having five wickets in hand Rising Stars were restricted to 148 runs.

Shahid Butt was declared the man of the match.
