It is still all to play for after Al Wahda's AFC Champions League Round of 16 first leg encounter against Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr ended in a stalemate, late on Monday night.
Abderazak Hamdallah put the hosts ahead on 17 minutes after being provided by Sultan Al Ghanam but Al Wahda cancelled out through Leonardo following an assist from talisman Ismail Matar on 53 minutes.
Following the draw at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the teams will face off again in the second leg next week.
Al Wahda will host the return leg at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on August 12. The winners will go on to play either Al Sadd or Al Duhail in the quarterfinals.
Al Wahda had made it to the Round of 16 after topping Group B, while Al Nassr finished second to Iran's Zobahan in Group A.
Al Wahda had reached the quarterfinals in 2004 and were semifinalists in 2007. The second leg takes place at the Al Nahyan Stadium on August 12.
