Kings YTCA UAE under-18s got their UK campaign off to a fine start by beating the Switzerland Under 18s national team in two T20 matches at the Langton Cricket Club, Leicestershire, a press release said.
After winning the toss, Kings YTCA captain Hamad Arshad put Switzerland Under 18s in and managed to restrict them to 111 for seven.
In reply, Kings YTCA reached home in 13 overs.
In the second match, Switzerland, batting first, made 88 for eight and once again Kings YTCA chased down the score comfortably.
"As a unit we fielded and bowled very well in both games. The victory has given us a lot of confidence going into the next few days," skipper Arshad said.
