Rajasthan Royals chairman Ranjit Barthakur said the franchise would do whatever it takes to maintain the highest safety standards when the team's England and Australian players arrive next month for the Indian Premier League in the UAE.
The 2020 edition of the IPL will get underway in the UAE on September 19.
But question marks have remained whether players from England and Australia will be available for their respective IPL teams in the first few matches as the two international teams will be engaged in a limited overs series in the UK.
England will play Australia in the last match of their three-game ODI series on September 16 in Manchester.
"The second batch (of foreign players) will come after the England-Australia series between Sept 17 and 18,"Barthakur told Khaleej Times on Saturday.
But the six-day quarantine rule means the players like Steve Smith, Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes, who play for the Royals, could miss out on the first few matches of the cash-rich league.
"Some people are saying that the quarantine should be reduced because they would already be in a bubble in the UK, and they would come here on a private plane," Barthakur said.
"But others are saying that the same (six-day) quarantine rules have to be followed. So we will do whatever it takes to maintain the highest safety standards and what it is good for the tournament," added the Royals chairman before informing that South African all-rounder David Miller and West Indies fast bowler Oshane Thomas would join the team on August 25.
