The Ladies European Tour (LET) has appointed Tom Phillips as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 6, 2026, marking a strategic move to build on the Tour’s international growth.
Phillips, who currently serves as Director of Middle East for the DP World Tour, has been instrumental in expanding the European Tour’s footprint in the region. Leading a 30-strong UAE team, he helped secure the landmark DP World title partnership and oversaw six Middle East events, including three Rolex Series tournaments, with combined prize money exceeding $35 million.
“Tom is a highly respected leader with deep international experience and a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth,” said Marta Figueras Dotti, Chair of the LET Board.
“His commercial expertise, collaborative approach, and passion for the game make him the right person to lead the LET as we continue to build momentum for our players and our Tour.”
Liz Moore, Chair of the LPGA-LET Joint Venture Board of Directors, added: “Tom brings a global perspective and a clear understanding of how to grow professional sport in a way that benefits athletes, partners and fans… We’re excited about the leadership he’ll bring to the LET.”
Phillips’ career spans more than 25 years across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Before joining the DP World Tour in 2019, he worked closely with six-time major champion Sir Nick Faldo, expanding the Faldo Series to 40 tournaments across 30 countries, and later led the Hong Kong Golf Association, including the Hong Kong Open.
He also held senior business development roles with Mission Hills in China, negotiating long-term partnerships with FC Barcelona, the NBA, and the PGA of America.
“The Ladies European Tour has a proud history and an exciting future,” Phillips said. “I’m honoured to take on this role and look forward to working with the board, the team, and the players to continue strengthening the Tour, expanding its global reach, and creating even more opportunities for women in the game.”
Having lived and worked in Asia and the Middle East since 2005, Phillips will return to the UK when he assumes the CEO role in April, bringing a wealth of regional expertise to the global stage of women’s professional golf.
