Patrick Reed finally broke through for his first individual LIV Golf title in Dallas, winning a dramatic four-man playoff to cap off a rollercoaster final round, while Crushers GC, led by captain Bryson DeChambeau, claimed their third straight team victory in dominant style.

The 34-year-old Reed held a three-shot lead heading into the final round and looked poised for a smooth finish. That lead ballooned to five strokes after just one hole, as his playing partners Paul Casey and Abraham Ancer stumbled with double-bogeys. But Reed’s front nine turned into a nervy ride, carding five bogeys in a seven-hole stretch that saw him relinquish the lead to Tyrrell Hatton by the turn.

In the end, Reed’s total of 6-under par after 54 holes saw him tied with Casey, South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen, and Japan’s Jinichiro Kozuma -forcing just the second four-man playoff in LIV Golf history.

The playoff was short but dramatic. Oosthuizen found the water off the tee, Casey landed in a greenside bunker, and Kozuma missed the green. Reed, however, stuck his approach close from the fairway rough and calmly drained a 15-foot birdie putt for the win.

“I looked down at my putter - it’s actually my daughter’s putter, and it says Windsor-Wells all over it,” said Reed. “I looked down and I said, ‘Come on honey, we’ve got to make one.’ For that putt to go in – it meant a lot.”

It was a special moment for Reed, coming in his 41st LIV Golf start, and his first time holding an individual trophy in the league.

Meanwhile, the Crushers GC squad, DeChambeau, Dubai-based Anirban Lahiri, Paul Casey, and Charles Howell III, delivered a team performance for the ages. Coming from four shots behind, they surged to an 11-stroke win over 4Aces GC, tying the record for the largest team margin of victory this season.

DeChambeau and Lahiri sparked the charge with early runs of three consecutive birdies, igniting a final-round team score of 10-under par. Their total of 18-under secured the Crushers’ eighth regular season title and ninth overall, including the 2023 Team Championship.

The win carried added significance for DeChambeau, who was competing in front of a hometown crowd. More importantly, it sent a clear message to the rest of the field: the Crushers are firmly in control as the season heats up.

The next stop on the LIV Golf calendar is the historic Real Club Valderrama in Spain, from July 11th–13th, 2025.
