Members from different corners of the world were united for one spectacular evening
Nestled among the striking Dubai Marina where design and architectural elegance meets seamlessly the Emirates Golf Club has long been more than a golf course—it’s a community.
Since 1988, when its legendary Majlis Course first earned the title of "the desert miracle," the club has grown into a vibrant hub for members from across the globe, all united by a shared love of the game and friendships.
On April 25, 2025, that spirit of togetherness was on full display as over 800 members and guests came together to celebrate one of the club’s most cherished traditions—the Annual Members Party.
What began over three decades ago as a simple gathering has evolved into a signature event in the club’s social calendar, embodying the Emirates Golf Club’s unique blend of tradition, diversity, and joyful community.
This year’s party was nothing short of magical. As the sun set over the lush greens of the Majlis and Faldo courses, the club’s purpose-built Pavilion ballroom, a venue which hosts parties, celebrations, corporate events, weddings, product launches and indoor sports events, transformed into a festive playground.
Dancers brought colour and rhythm to the evening, as DJ Zane took the decks and kept the energy soaring with a blend of old-school hits and modern remixes and a surprise fireworks display lit up the sky—an exclamation point on a night filled with unforgettable memories.
The highlight of the evening came in the form of heartfelt speeches. Chris May, the CEO of Dubai Golf, and Stephen Hubner, the dedicated club manager, took to the stage to thank members for their continued support and camaraderie. Their words were a reminder of the special golfing ‘family’ that has flourished within the club’s storied fairways.
Joining them were Club Captains Joseph Andrade and Josie Tracey, who each spoke with warmth and gratitude, celebrating the incredible diversity and spirit of the membership. In another highlight of the night, the club proudly announced its new Vice Captains ushering in the next chapter of leadership and tradition.
As the evening rolled on, raffle prizes sparked cheers, and the dance floor remained lively well into the night. Old friends reconnected, new friendships were formed, and throughout it all, there was a shared sense of pride in belonging to something truly special.
Emirates Golf Club is known around the world for its championship courses—the iconic Majlis and the Faldo night course—and for hosting legends of the game at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
But it's nights like these that remind us that what truly sets the club apart is not just its fairways, but its family. A global family of members brought together by passion and celebration.
Here’s to the traditions that bring us together, and to many more unforgettable nights at the one and only Emirates Golf Club.
