Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan surprised fans as he showed up to inaugurate the game featuring Paris St Germain and Riyadh Season Team.
The senior actor was seen shaking hands with the football greats. He also went ahead and said a few words to Ronaldo, who returned an appreciative smile to Big B.
The actor shared a video on Twitter with the caption: "An evening in Riyadh .. what an evening .. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mbape, Neymar all playing together .. and yours truly invited guest to inaugurate the game..PSG vs Riyadh Seasons .. Incredible!!!"
In terms of the match, it may not have much lasting significance for the teams involved, soccer fans around the world got plenty of bang for their buck as a story that has dominated the sport for over a decade appeared to come to an end in a memorable goalfest.

A handball by Ali Al-Bulaihi gave the visitors a penalty, which was expertly dispatched by Mbappe on the hour, before Hugo Ekitike extended the lead to 5-3 with a thumping finish following a lung-busting run from the halfway line.
Anderson Talisca scored late for the Saudis in added time, but Ekitike's strike proved to be enough on the night.
Though he was unable to get his newest chapter in Saudi Arabia off to a winning start, 37-year-old Ronaldo will take heart from his performance as he prepares to make his first competitive appearance for Al Nassr when they host Al Ettifaq on Sunday.
