Dev does a double

Dev Vishnu stole the show at the 39th India Club UAE Open Badminton Tournament claiming two titles this weekend. In the under-10 final, Dev defeated Hiran Rasi 21-15, 21-15 in two straight sets and later on clinched the under-12 title with a 21-9, 21-18 win over Ankit Mathew on Friday.
 In the under-14 semifinals Manav Sumith beat Fazim Abou Anzar 21-7, 21-8, and Ravi Sajayan beat Adarsh Dinesh Nair 13-21, 21-16, 21-15. The doubles final in the under-14 category was won by Manav Sumith after beating Adil Sumith 21-16, 22-20.
In the girls' under-14 final, Tanisha Crasto defeated Angelia Ann 21-5, 21-6 to win the title. In in a hard fought under-19 boys' final, which went into three sets, Mohammed Muannis beat Abdulla Shaheer 21-15, 19-21, 21-19 to win the title.
