Tickets have officially gone on sale for the ICC T20 Men's World Cup 2026 semi-finals and finals, and cricket fans are in a rush to get their hands on one. Some categories are already sold out, as sport enthusiasts lined up in a digital queue at 7pm IST (5.30 UAE time).
The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, while the final will take place on March 8. The Super Eight are now vying for the top 4 spots.
From Group 1, West Indies and South Africa lead the Super 8 points tally after their big wins over Zimbabwe and India, respectively. Meanwhile in Group 2, England sit atop following their win over Sri Lanka. New Zealand and Pakistan shared a point each after rain had the final say in their fixture.

Tickets for the final at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad are "filling fast", and are priced between Rs2,000 and Rs60,000 — depending on the seat category. For the first Semi Final on March 4, tickets stand at 1,500 Sri Lankan Rupees for the Block D, Lower level area at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Other seat categories are greyed out — it is unclear if this is due to them being sold out, or if tickets are not yet available.
Meanwhile, tickets range between Rs900 and Rs3,000 at Kolkata's Eden Gardens for the first semi final. The venue depends on the participating teams.
Tickets are "coming soon" for the second semi final on March 5, taking place at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. Currently, prices start at Rs3,000.
'Floating venues'
The first semi-final is a floating venue arrangement between Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium and Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, according to the ICC website.
This depends on the results from the ongoing Super 8 fixtures, and whether Pakistan qualifies or not. These are the possibilities:
If Pakistan qualify for the semi-finals, they will play in semi-final 1 in Colombo. If Pakistan do not qualify for the semi-finals, but Sri Lanka qualify and play anyone other than India, then Sri Lanka will play in semi-final 1 in Colombo.
If neither of those apply, or if India are drawn against Sri Lanka, then the first semi-final will be played in Kolkata on the same date.
If Pakistan reach the final, it will be played in Colombo; otherwise, it will be played in Ahmedabad.
In case tickets are purchased for a venue that doesn’t end up hosting either semi-final 1 or the final, these will be refunded to the ticket-holder.
