Broad praises Bairstow
DUBAI - England's young team did well to beat Pakistan in the second Twenty20 and level the series 1-1.

Jonathan Bairstow played a mature knock to help England post a fighting total of 150. He has the ingredients of a big player and England will be a force in the next Twenty20 World Cup to be played in Sri Lanka this year.
While addressing the Press conference man-of-the-match Bairstow said: “It was a pleasing performance because it has won the match for England.

“Especially after the result on Thursday, it was important for us to win the match.”
Pakistan bowled well to take early England wickets but the late order clicked to put up a fighting total.
“They bowled very well and it was hard to score freely. Umar Gul is a top T20 bowler and to score against him in the death overs is a tough task.
“It was a step in the right direction and I have to keep performing to cement my place in the team,” Bairstow said.
England captain Stuart Broad said: “ It was not a 170 wicket and after scoring 150 we were confident of stopping them and win the match.
“Bairstow is a brave player and won the game for us. Gul was bowling well but he still hit some boundaries to take us to 150.
“Our bowlers bowled with fire and starting with two slips was a brave step and it paid for us.
“We will keep working hard for the Sri Lanka tour.
“We will try to win the game in Abu Dhabi because there are not many T20 games before the World Cup in Sri Lanka.
“We want to end the tour on a winning note.”
