Dubai Vikings won the Under 19 DCC (Dubai Cricket Council) Youth League title with an impressive eight-wicket win over Dubai Aztec in the final.

Batting first, Dubai Aztec managed only 128 for eight in 20 overs despite Shashank's fine half-century (57).

Jordan Alvares (2/18) and Nirvan Shetty (2/28) took two wickets each for the Vikings.

In reply, Dubai Vikings reached home in just 16.3 overs losing only two wickets.

Ayaan Misbah, who recently led the UAE team to victory in the ACC Men's U16 West Zone Cup, scored a sparkling 75 while Ridhay Bhatia made 44.

Ayaan was named man-of-the-match as well as the batsman of the tournament for his 213 runs in five matches.

Under head coach Gopal Jasapara, Dubai Vikings won all of their five matches.

The tournament, organised under the guidance of DCC secretary Amin Farooq, gives youngsters a wonderful platform as they aim to seal a place in the UAE Under 19 team.
