Al Ain coach Ivan Leko has told his players to be wary of the Al Dhafra's attacking intent when the two sides meet in the 10th round of the Arabian Gulf League on Thursday.
Al Ain, the record 13-time champions of the League, can count on the support of their fans at their fortress - the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, but Leko said that The Western Knights could be stiff opponents on the night.
"We will face a strong team who are very offensive," Leko said in his pre-match briefing.
"They have a strong attacking line who can turn things around at a given moment. But we have to maintain our good performance and carry on the momentum from the match against Ajman," the Croatian added.
The Boss returned to winning ways with a 4-1 verdict against Ajman, following a string of stalemates against Al Jazira, Bani Yas and Al Nasr, dating back to the first week of November.
Al Ain currently sit third on the table with 18 points, two behind Shabab Al Ahli and five adrift of leaders and reigning champions Sharjah.
Meanwhile, the match of the weekend is Al Wasl squaring off against Al Jazira at the Zabeel Stadium on Friday night.
